Widescreen
Access 20% more working space than a standard interactive whiteboard system with the 685ix. Ideal for classrooms using widescreen laptops and monitors, the SMART Board 685 ix system has an 87" (221 cm) interactive whiteboard and a UX60 projector, which offers a 16:10 aspect ratio and native WXGA (1280 x 800) widescreen resolution. You can attach a high definition camcorder, Blu-ray Disc player or widescreen laptop to the extended control panel to give your students a true-to-life multimedia experience, without the distractions of letterboxing or distortion.
Virtually shadow and glare free
Compared to longer throw projectors that are mounted on ceilings or walls, the SMART Board 685ix system's ultra-short-throw projector, the UX60, creates virtually no shadows or glare. This panel also features an integrated USB hub with dual computer switching that enables you to integrate a document camera or USB drive, and to switch between two computers that are connected to the interactive whiteboard.
